We have a very busy programme and we will help you to keep on time as over-running impacts on other presenters and the programme overall. Please arrive 15 minutes before the time for your session or at the breaks. One of the event organisers will assist you in loading your presentation onto the computer in advance.
Please arrive at 12pm on Thursday 22nd August, to set up your art/demo in Elphinstone Hall. There will be suppliers to help you display the artwork during this period. All artwork and demos must be set up no later than 2pm. The hall must be clear by 2:00pm prior to registration opening as it is a Health and Safety Hazard. There is a drop off area nearby the hall for you to load and unload your vehicle.

Your presentation slides should be 16:9 in size. Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF is accepted. If you are using alternative presentation software let us know and we can test it will work in advance.
Oral Presentations will take place in the New King’s Building - NK1 (number 23 on the map)

As a presenter, there will be a desktop for you to present beside, where you will have access to a comfort monitor screen which will enable easy access to view your presentation. You will have access to a laser pointer to control your slides and access to a tie-clip microphone for your use. A member of staff is on hand throughout the event to help you with any technical issues.
This size of the poster boards are 1160mm wide x 900mm height (per panel). They are made up of two panels with a middle section which is 62mm in size. The poster boards will fit an A0 paper size in Portrait or landscape orientation. Please note- lights are NOT included.
You are responsible for printing your own poster and bringing it along to the conference for display.
You will be able to set up your printed poster on the day of conference registration, on Thursday 22nd August from 2pm. Posters need to be taken down on the last day of the conference, on Saturday 24th August between 4.30pm and 7pm.
Posters will be located in Elphinstone Hall where the catering and demos/artwork are also on display. All posters will presented throughout the whole duration of the conference, but please ensure you are present at your poster during the indicated session. The odd poster numbers present in the first poster session on Friday August 23rd (2.30pm – 4.30pm), the even poster numbers present in the second poster session on Saturday August 24th (2.30pm – 4.30pm).
Posters will be secured by means of Velcro stickers which will be provided and on your board ready for use. Please be aware, posters printed on thick canvas may have trouble sticking to the board due to their heavy weight. Please note, pins are not allowed to be used on the poster board. Please note that any posters remaining at the end of the conference cannot be returned to authors so please ensure you pick your poster up at the end. Your poster number will be available on the day at registration and in Elphinstone Hall where you will be setting up your posters.
